NSIC Young Professional Recruitment 2026 - Selection Process

Selection is through shortlisting of applications followed by an interaction / interview by the NSIC Selection Committee. Mere submission of application or fulfillment of eligibility criteria does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. Call letters and other information will be sent to shortlisted candidates by email only and may also be published on the NSIC corporate website. NSIC reserves the right to upgrade eligibility criteria if a large number of applications are received.

Stage 1 - Application Shortlisting

Applications received within the deadline will be screened for eligibility as per the advertisement. Candidates who meet the prescribed qualification, experience, and age criteria will be shortlisted based on the relevance and quality of their profile. Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected. Any request to add additional information after submission will not be entertained.

Stage 2 - Interaction / Interview

Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interaction / interview before the NSIC Selection Committee. Date, time, and venue of the interaction will be communicated by email only to the registered email ID. Candidates must keep their email ID active for at least 3 months from the date of application. NSIC will not be responsible for non-delivery or late delivery of email due to any reason.

Stage 3 - Medical Clearance & Police Verification

Selected candidates must submit a Statement of Good Health from a recognized Physician prior to commencement of work. Antecedent/police verification of selected candidates will be done as per latest instructions issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). If police verification is received as negative, the contract will cease to exist with immediate effect without any notice.

NSIC Young Professional Recruitment 2026 - Post-wise Work Location & Key Details

All Young Professionals will be primarily posted at NSIC Head Office, New Delhi. However, NSIC reserves the right to post them at any of its offices across India. Working hours are 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The engagement is on a full-time basis and the incumbent cannot take up any other assignment during the engagement period.

Important Instructions for NSIC Young Professional Recruitment 2026 Candidates

  • THIS IS NOT A REGULAR EMPLOYMENT. Engagement of Young Professionals is purely on a contractual basis for consultancy purposes. Young Professionals are not entitled to any benefit or compensation available to regular NSIC employees, including DA, HRA, CGHS, Medical reimbursement, or Provident Fund.
  • The engagement is on a full-time basis. The selected candidate cannot take up any other assignment in any other company during the period of engagement.
  • Candidates may apply for only one post. If more than one application is submitted, only the first application (by system-generated date and time) will be considered and the remaining will be summarily rejected.
  • Prescribed qualifications and experience must have been acquired on or before 08-06-2026. Qualifications or experience acquired after the cut-off will not be considered.
  • Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected. Once submitted, no request to add or modify information will be entertained under any circumstances.
  • NSIC reserves the right to upgrade eligibility criteria and increase or decrease the number of vacancies in any category without assigning any reason.
  • Call letters and all future communications will be sent by email only. Candidates must ensure their registered email ID is active for at least 3 months. NSIC bears no responsibility for non-delivery of emails.
  • Shortlisting for interview is at NSIC's sole discretion โ€” fulfilling eligibility criteria does not guarantee a call for interview.
  • The selected candidate must join within 15 days of the offer of engagement. Failure to join within this period will result in automatic withdrawal of the offer.
  • Income Tax and other applicable taxes will be deducted at source. NSIC will issue TDS certificates. GST, as applicable, shall be admissible to Young Professionals. The Young Professional is responsible for paying their own Income Tax as applicable.
  • NSIC or the Competent Authority may terminate the contract at any time by giving 30 days' notice or paying 30 days' compensation in lieu thereof, without assigning any reason.
  • Antecedent/police verification of selected candidates will be conducted as per MHA guidelines. A negative police verification report will result in immediate termination of the contract without any notice.
  • No abbreviations should be used in the application where full forms are indicated โ€” applications with abbreviations in such fields are liable for rejection.
  • NSIC reserves the right to cancel, modify, withdraw, or postpone this recruitment notice at any time without assigning any reason.
