Income Tax Delhi Sports Quota Recruitment 2026
The Office of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Delhi has invited online applications from eligible meritorious sportspersons for 119 posts. The recruitment covers Tax Assistant, Stenographer Grade-II and Multi-Tasking Staff positions.

Eligibility
Tax Assistant applicants need a bachelor's degree and must qualify the data-entry skill requirement of 8,000 key depressions per hour. Stenographer Grade-II requires Class 12 and the prescribed shorthand and transcription test. MTS applicants need Class 10. The educational qualification must be obtained by 31 August 2026.
Applicants must also hold sports achievements accepted under the notification. Recognised achievements between 1 January 2020 and 15 October 2026 are considered, with preference rules covering international, national, university, Khelo India and other notified competitions.
Age Limit
The age is counted on 31 August 2026. Tax Assistant and Stenographer candidates should be 18–27 years old, while the MTS limit is 18–25 years. Eligible sportspersons may receive relaxation under government instructions, including higher relaxation for SC/ST candidates where applicable.

Selection Process
