RRB NTPC Undergraduate Recruitment 2026
Railway Recruitment Boards have announced 1,688 undergraduate-level vacancies under Centralised Employment Notice CEN 07/2026. The recruitment is for 12th-pass candidates seeking Non-Technical Popular Categories posts in Indian Railways.

Eligibility and Age Limit
Candidates need Class 12 or an equivalent qualification with at least 50% aggregate marks. The 50% condition is relaxed for SC/ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and candidates with a qualification higher than Class 12. Age is 18–30 years as on 1 January 2027, with relaxation for eligible categories.

Application Fee
The fee is ₹500 for general applicants and ₹250 for eligible concessional categories, including SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, female, transgender, minority and EBC candidates. Candidates who appear in CBT-1 can receive the applicable refund after bank charges.
Exam Pattern and Selection
Selection consists of CBT-1, CBT-2, document verification and medical examination. CBT-1 has 100 questions and 100 marks in 90 minutes: General Awareness 40, Mathematics 30, and General Intelligence and Reasoning 30. CBT-2 has 120 questions and marks in 90 minutes: General Awareness 50, Mathematics 35, and Reasoning 35. One-third mark is deducted for every wrong answer.
CEN 07/2026 does not include a separate typing skill test for Accounts Clerk cum Typist and Junior Clerk cum Typist posts, although candidates should have basic computer and typing ability.
